They'll damage your car and lie to your face about it. I brought my newish (2024) car in on 6/30 for covered maintenance. Upon pickup, I immediately noticed three fresh scratches on the front driver side. I asked to see the intake video, knowing it would prove they weren't there before. They told me to wait and disappeared to the back office. After twenty minutes I asked another rep to find my advisor. She came…
out with two mechanics and we watched the intake video together. It clearly showed NO scratches before the servicing. Instead of owning it, they insisted the footage was "too dark to be sure." I pushed back and asked to speak with a manager. Five minutes later, a manager came out and we walked over to my car, looked at the scratches, and watched the video. Same result and the same "too dark to be sure" excuse, basically telling me not to trust what was plainly visible in the video. I asked what they do in a situation like this where a car has been damaged. The manager said he'd need to contact whoever manages the cameras "in the back" to find out how it happened and that could take a few hours. They were just stalling and wearing me down instead of admitting fault. It was an effective strategy for them, though, because they essentially won. I didn't have time to argue over a couple hundred dollars in cosmetic damage. But it's absolutely mind-boggling that a Toyota service center would damage your car and then lie to your face about what their own intake video captured! If you bring your car here, document everything before you hand over the keys so YOU own the evidence. When they damage something, expect denial and delay, even with proof staring them in the face.
Response from the owner · July 6, 2026: Ben, I’m sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it must be to deal with damage to your car and the lack of accountability. Your feedback is important, and we take these matters seriously. I encourage you to reach out directly to our Service Director Nick P at 866-208-3074 when you have a chance, we would appreciate it. Thank you. - Kkaelan★☆☆☆☆ January 23, 2026
I always believed Toyota stood behind their products. Not this dealership. Purchased a battery for my sequoia in July. The battery didn’t last 6 months. Totally dead. Cannot charge the battery. The battery charger and a battery tender both show the battery is defective. Reads 2.7 volts on a meter. I took the battery to the dealer to get tested for a warranty claim. They said we need your vehicle here to test a…
battery. They cannot test a defective battery without the car there. If I could get the battery to work I would. They said we cannot help you. I highly recommend you DONT use Westchester Toyota for parts or service. Their staff is very unprofessional and clearly not willing to stand behind their products. Why say it’s an 84 month warranty if you will not even test it after 6 months. I would say you can come tow the vehicle there if you need it. Because this battery will not start the car no matter what you do. Pictures bc u can test a battery out of a vehicle. They just don’t wanna stand behind their products!!! 3rd picture in is the battery that Westchester Toyota will not replace or test for that matter. last picture is what a good battery looks like. And Toyota. It turn the motor on at 13.6 v. don’t wanna hear it’s not 14. You would know if you tested the battery you gave me. If I could post a video I would show you a video of your battery with the volt meter and how it won’t even click. And a video of the battery I had to buy from autozone for another $250 dollars and how the car turns over/on like it should. Send me ur phone number I will gladly show u both videos of the battery you won’t stand behind and a autozone battery that does work turning on my sequoia!!! I really look forward to you answering this review like you have to ur past reviews……….
Response from the owner · January 26, 2026: Hi Kaelan, we’re sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating a failed battery situation can be, especially so soon after purchase. Toyota battery warranties do have specific testing requirements, and we’d genuinely like the opportunity to review this further with you and see how we can help clarify or resolve the issue. Please contact our Service Director Nick P at 866-208-3074 when you have a chance, we would appreciate it. Thank you. - GGeraldine★★★★★ July 10, 2026
This place is great! Everyone was very patient and answered all of my questions. They even accommodated my Great Dane Service Dog. Along with getting my 2025 Sienna Serviced I needed a replacement key. The bill for the key was over $500! When I asked if there was some wiggle room to lower the price a bit the cashiers response was “I got you” and he did! I could not thank him enough as it was a HUGE help. I will…
admit the wait for the service to be completed was a bit long about 2 1/2 hrs but this is to be expected.
Response from the owner · July 13, 2026: Thank you, Geraldine! We appreciate your kind words and are glad our team was able to assist you and accommodate your service dog. It's wonderful to hear that our cashier was able to help with the key cost. We understand that wait times can be a bit long, and we appreciate your patience. - DDon★★★★★ July 7, 2026
Efrain was awesome to work with. I brought my car in after the maintenance light came on, and he made the whole process easy. He had my car inspected and the issue fixed the same day, which I really appreciated. While I was waiting, I also noticed him going out of his way to help other customers. Great customer service all around!
Response from the owner · July 13, 2026: Thank you, Don! We're glad to hear you had a great experience with Efrain and that he made the process easy for you. We appreciate your kind words about our customer service. - JJoseph★☆☆☆☆ October 15, 2025
Good afternoon. After three failed Panoramic sunroof replacements on my Camry by WestchesterToyotaService, I decided to take my vehicle to a different Toyota Service Center, Hillside Toyota where they found numerous bolts and screws missing and some loose from the sunroof assembly. I literally had a wall of glass dancing above my family and I as I drove. Not only was the Panoramic sunroof installed sloppily, but…
absolutely incorrectly by Westchester Toyota Service, they never even installed or ordered the wind deflector that was on my vehicle and is part of the Panoramic sunroof. The roof rails on my car were also missing clips causing them to come off and on one occasion strike the vehicle behind me. It's going to cost me approximately $1,500 out of pocket to correct their mess if they don't take responsibility for it, in which case it's off to small claims court. I should've read the reviews on BBB prior to either buying or servicing my vehicle at Westchester Toyota. Will update shortly. Awaiting response from new GM. 12/05/25 Good morning. Just posting the update I promised. Spoke to the new GM at Westchester Toyota. He was more concerned with his phone than in listening and addressing the issue. Complete waste of time. Promised to call back and of course he never did. Filed civil suit yesterday in Westchester County, Case # SC-000303-25/YO for those that wish to follow this dispute. Will continue to update accordingly. Be well. Be safe and Happy Holidays... 01/27/26 Update. Today is the day Westchester Toyota Service must appear in Westchester County Civil Court to respond to the suit I filed against them for extremely poor work on my Panoramic sunroof. As you can see by the photographs of my sunroof they never installed the nuts that hold the sunroof together. Absolutely horrible work by their mechanics. I will update the court results as soon as possible. Take your car to any Toyota Service Center for professional service where they actually know what their doing and get the job done right the first time... 03/03/26 Update On 01/27/26, Westchester Toyota Service sent their Service Manager to court to respond to my demand for reimbursement for the shoddy work they performed on my vehicle. The court has ruled in my favor and has ordered Westchester Toyota Service to fully reimburse me for the cost of repairing my Panoramic sunroof at Hillside Toyota Service in Queens, New York. After several attempts by me to have them reimburse me, I have been ignored as they obviously have no intention of abiding by the courts ruling and order. I even offered to drop my claim if they would simply install the missing sunroof wind visor at no cost to me, but of course they failed to respond. They have left me no choice but to contact Mr. Carmelo & John Guiffe, the owners of Bram Auto Group and to initiate further legal action against them. I'm pretty sure that they will not take kindly to me initiating liens on their property or assets which I intend to do with the help of the Westchester County Sheriff's Office. Will update again. Be well. Be safe. 03/09/26 Update Good afternoon. On or about March 5th, 2026, I received a call from a gentleman from Bram Auto Group which owns Westchester Toyota Service, informing me that the service center failed to inform them if this issue including the fact that they were being sued. He wasn't pleased about being kept in the dark. Bram Auto Group assured me the payment of my judgement against them would immediately be paid and the check would be in the mail the very next day. Will update again...
