  Hank May's is great. I think I found my new service shop, which is an upgrade over bigger chains like Pep Boys. The8r labor rates are reasonable. The waiting room is comfortable. And they know their stuff, particularly wheels, TPMS, and tires.

  I came in to do my inspection which went fine. The mechanic then let me know I needed two new front tires soon (which I did). I asked how much it would be and was told it would be around $550 for the tires (which was totally fine) and that my TOTAL would be over $1,000. This means that they wanted to charge me over $500 for LABOR to replace TWO TIRES. They tried to take advantage because I was a young girl by…

  myself. Luckily I knew better and declined and got the tires replaced at another shop for less than 1/3 of that price. UNBELIEVABLE! Shame on this place for trying to take advantage of women who come in alone thinking they’ll just pay whatever they are told. Truly disgusted by this interaction. I wish I remembered the name of the mechanic but I don’t. All reading this just beware and do your research! WILL NOT BE BACK.
