  In the beginning I thought Carlitos was a great place to take my car until he proved otherwise Multiple times I had a early morning appointments and he kept my car all day by 4 o'clock even though I asked him to please have it done in the morning. My LAST visit to him I had a fuel smell in my car. Carlito speaking with my son they determined it could be the fuel injectors, and/or the fuel cover gasket. Carlito…

  said that he would do the fuel injectors, and that would resolve the problem 100% My son said if that was not gonna fix the issue and that the fuel cover gasket needed to be changed then we would rethink putting $1000 into the car because it is an older car. Carlito said that would resolve the problem charged $480 fuel still smelled in the car and he was trying to deny the smell was still there even when his workers also smelled it after the work was done. I asked him for a receipt that he didn't give me at the time of service and he got nervous because he put the cash I paid in his pocket and my car "repair" was never entered into his computer with the work that he had done because he pocketed the money to avoid paying taxes.. This is what we know as tax evasion. Hw printed a receipt with no date of service and a charge of $440 and then added Tax to it when I gave him $480 in cash. Since he didn't resolve the issue and I was getting asphyxiated in my car, I demanded a refund which he refused. I called the cops. The cops urged him to satisfy me in someway and I know Carlito is getting very nervous so he refunded me $220 when it should've been $240 but to save my self aggravation I took it and left. I now go to TRI-STAR on. Route 6 Cortlant Manor. The BEST mechanics I've ever had the pleasure of taking my car to. Very accommodating and kind who are on the up and up and more important they're very honest and they value your time. They produce receipts for every single service unlike Carlitos Who takes advantage of his customers and the privilege of living in America by way of not paying his share of taxes. I believe the government will catch him soon enough. Kudos to Tri-Star you all should try them!

  Carlos (owner and head mechanic) is a hard working dude. The operations tempo at this shop intense and quick here - greet you, diagnose you and get fixed and get you moving mindset. I watched the operation for awhile while waiting and was impressed at how hard these guys work - very efficient and productive. I watched in one particular case where a technician was installing tires on some low rise rims and instead…

  of just throwing the new tires on the rim, the tech working the case wire brushed the rims to make sure the tire seated completely to the rim to prevent leaks, etc. I called at 11:30am and was told to stop by (by Carlos) at 12:30pm for the NYS inspection I sought. I arrived on time and had to wait a little bit, but was done by 2:20pm, which was reasonable given all the work going on simultaneously. I would not hesitate using this shop for auto mechanic services, nor should you. A+++++

  Carlito's is the best!! He is always super friendly and the prices are very reasonable! Only slight issue is that you walk through the whole shop to get to the office which means you may have to walk near suspended cars but other than that its amazing!

  I was introduced to the shop by a roommate. I was locked out the car they came to the house ND got me into the car. I've been using them every since. Stand up guys stand up shop ........the whole darn team. I only drive foreign cars. He's done so much work 4me Audi, Jaguar, Mercedes Blu-tec..his team converted my Air suspension on the Benz to regular. Top notch service

  Showed up just before closing! Owner found the tire locally and replaced it all within an hour and we were back on the road. Quadruple A+. FRIENDLY And professional!! Highly recommend!! Price was right too!!
