  I recently stopped by West Islip Volkswagen just to "look" at new vehicles. (We all know how that usually ends!) I was greeted by Evan Roth, who welcomed me, sat down with me, and took the time to discuss exactly what I was looking for. After reviewing the inventory, he showed me two Tiguans in the color I wanted, each with different trim levels. He clearly explained the similarities and differences between the SE…

  R-Line Black and the SEL R-Line Turbo without overwhelming me with sales jargon. Since I had recently driven an SE, I asked if I could take the SEL for a test drive. Evan smiled and said, "Sure, let me get the keys." After the drive, we sat down to go over the numbers. What impressed me most was that Evan wasn't trying to push me into the more expensive vehicle. Instead, he asked thoughtful questions about whether the additional features of the SEL were worth the extra cost to me. His goal was simply to make sure I ended up in the vehicle that best fit my needs. In fact, I started to feel like he was actually talking me into the SE! Either Evan is the most honest salesperson I've ever met, or he has mastered the art of reverse psychology. Well...it worked. After a little more discussion, we made a deal, and by the end of the day I was driving off the lot in my brand-new 2026 Tiguan SEL R-Line Turbo. I couldn't be happier with the vehicle or the buying experience. If you're looking for a salesperson who's knowledgeable, patient, honest, and genuinely interested in helping you make the right decision—not just the most expensive one—ask for Evan Roth. Just be careful if he starts recommending the less expensive model...you might end up buying the top trim like I did!

He made it feel like I've known him for years and went above and beyond to show the effort he was making to find a way to get the deal done.   slightly over Pablo's best price, with that being said on my way to the other dealer I really did love my experience with Pablo so I called him and told him what the other dealer had for me, preferred color, slightly less mileage but something in me told me to call Pablo and offer him a price closer to his just because I liked my experience with him. Pablo told me to pull over and I was playing with fire, 2 minutes later he gets back on the phone out of breath and told me to come on down. If Pablo wasn't so outgoing, enthusiastic and a genuine and far from pushy just gives you the information you want, he would not have gotten the deal done. Rather than putting me or my aggressive approach down, he made sure I felt confident in what I was doing even though we were a bit off on the price initially. Pablo told me he will do everything he can to help get it done and have me out the door with my new truck and he showed me through actions he was a man of his word. I would recommend Pablo to everyone i know for the sole fact that when he says he will do everything he can, he will show you it at the same time. 5 stars earned for Pablo and I can't thank him enough for my beautiful new truck!
