Alejandro was very helpful and made sure that my questions were answered thoroughly and took care to make sure my ride home and back again went perfectly. He put me on directly with the technician which was great. He seemed new but the other staff offered information and of course Wonder Woman was there to work her magic.

Service department super friendly I even took my dog to shop. Subaru service department keep you updated with every stage of your vehicle progress. I should say though took little over 90 min for oil change but I m very happy with service quality. I got also free car wash. One last thing I give ten star to wonder woman she really run that place. I had a really good experience albeit the unfortunate issue with my car. A few weeks ago, my 2019 forester had an engine failure upon ignition while visiting family on Staten Island. I had the car towed to Island Subaru as the accelerator pedal was not responsive and the engine could not hold at idle. I asked if they could take a look that afternoon (Friday) or the next day so I can figure out alternate options for…
getting home 3hrs away. By next day, I got a call around noon saying that the car is ready, and the cost was fully covered by the powertrain warranty! Turns out it was a TCV failure, which they replaced and everything went back to normal. I want to especially thank Besa G. (aka Wonder Woman) for staying in contact with me through this experience and even getting my father-in-law a Lyft to come and pick up the car. And want to also thank Ed L. for fixing the problem so quickly. I highly recommend Island Subaru Service Center!
