  I just stopped in for an oil change and NYS Inspection at the Halfmoon, NY store and found the staff to be friendly and efficient. A big shoutout to their inspector Steve for treating my classic 1988 Mustang like it was his! A+ team.

  Not going to lie, I have been going to Jiffy Lube for a long time, but for the past few times they have been SUPER busy over an hr wait, Today I took a chance and went to Valvoline here in Clifton Park NY since it was 30 seconds up the road. They weren't busy, I was greeted in a welcoming manner and drove my car into the bay with the mechanic guiding. He said someone will be right with me. 30 seconds later another…

  mechanic came over and checked me right in (you are to stay in your car for safety and during the whole process). He was welcoming as well, both mechanics helping had smiles and were very friendly. I instantly felt comfortable and in good hands. Their option for high mileage oil was actually a few bucks cheaper than the other place(and i had an online coupon off their site). Everything finished within 15 minutes easy process just how I like it. Great work guys! (they even filled my tires since I was a bit low on air)

  I have been waiting an hour in line for a standard oil change. I have been a loyal Valvoline customer for years, and have been to many locations across NY and in MD as well, and have never experienced wait times like these. Most people come to this chain expecting expedient service, and don’t have over an hour to spend on this task. Yes there appears to be a high volume of customers, but it also appears to be taking…

  First off, the ASM is amazing and I love his attitude for the job, this review is for the others working there. I love the convenience of Valvoline, the only complaint is the push for opening my glove box for a filter I change myself. I even told them I change it myself (it’s $15 online) and 10 minutes of my time rather than $55 at valvoline. The guy taking it out keeps telling me it’s cheaper for them than the…

  dealership, and I said I do it myself and he made a comment that’s it’s easier for me to sit and watch him do it than me to do it, respectfully I didn’t ask you to do this; your boss did after I kindly informed the boss I do it myself. I understand there’s a job to do, but if a customer informs you they do their own maintenance on something, it’s okay you check it; but don’t hit with the guilt trip because you’re having a bad day. There was a lot of standing around as if they didn’t know how to help, waiting for direction from their boss.

  I keep returning to this location as I appreciate the quality of the experience. Another area competitor was overfilling my oil, unbeknownst to me, so I switched back to Valvoline when I found out. Hunter is professional, kind and honest. I’ve had great experiences with the other staff too but I remember him by name. Definitely recommend this location!
