Unprofessional and Money-Driven I brought my car here based on a neighbor’s recommendation, but it was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I dropped it off Tuesday first thing in the morning and i clearly explained several issues as shown in the yellow sheet: the e-brake wasn’t working (told them it was important since I live on a hill), I asked them to check/replace the brakes, look into a fluctuating idle…

while stopped in drive, and I pointed out that my tires were severely cracked safety concern to me. I even told them to check everything and that I was open to paying for any necessary repairs. The big guy writing this down seemed like he did not care not paying attention and only wrote some stuff down. His original writing of my concerns are under “description of work” that shows everything I said the first time I went. They said they will start that day, but my car sat untouched for a day and a half—I confirmed this through an AirTag tracker, parked a block away. When I picked it up the next day, they charged me $500 for replacing the front rotors and clips only. Everything else I mentioned was ignored? Without telling me they did not look at the rest. I went back Thursday morning to address this, and the same dismissive attitude continued by the big guy. I dropped the car off again, and once again, they didn’t touch it until the next day after I called for an update. This time they only addressed the e-brake, but charged me labor again—even though it should’ve been done the first time when the brakes were already apart. In total, I paid $1,000 for two visits. Wasted 4 days. My idle issue was never diagnosed, the tires were ignored, and the car was returned dirty. Seems like when they took out the center console everything fell out and they angrily stuffed some things in, and they even left a flathead screwdriver inside the car that is not mine. The battery was dead when I picked it up. luckily i had a portable jump starter. I’ve attached photos of all of this, including the receipts and the condition of my tires, to back everything I’m saying. To make things worse, I lost four days commuting to and from work in Long Island by public transportation, thinking they were taking their time properly diagnosing my car—but in reality, they barely touched it until I followed up. Both times the splash shield guard was not installed They clearly only do the easiest jobs that make them the most money. No pride in their work, no proper communication, and no real concern for the customer. I’ve had better experiences at the shops near Citi Field. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Found this shop after another place wasted my time. Came in for a NYS inspection and they took my car almost immediately. Staff was super friendly and professional. Really solid spot.

Have been coming here for years. Always honest, accommodating. Often jammed, a sign of the respect folks have for this business. For some reason, a previous 5-star review I posted seems to have disappeared.

I initially came here for my NY state inspection but they were so nice I've since come here for other issues...they are the most honest and nicest auto tech place I've ever been to. I came in and asked them to look at my car's tire, tpms sensor and battery - they could have told me all three were defective and replaced them all and I'd have been none the wiser - instead, they checked it all and were able to fix the…

tire no issues and everything else was actually fine. I trust Glendale 100% with my vehicle and will never go anywhere else for my car!!

HORRIBLE!!! I took my Mercedes to this place a while back and some young kid was working on it. They held on to my car for a while and when I picked it up I found that my BOSE speaker surround sound system was swapped out for another. Of course they denied this. This is a classic example of how crooked a lot of auto mechanics are, they especially love to cheat women or people they presume do not know much about…

cars. The owners should have an honest policy and should train their workers not to be criminals, otherwise they will soon not have a legitimate business. They may try to reply but don’t pay mind to their senseless jargon. DO EXTENSIVE RESEARCH AND TRY TO FIND A GOOD MECHANIC THROUGH REFERRALS!!!!!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
