  I went to look at getting a new car and did not think I was going to leave with one. I had in mind Subaru and Toyota but was leaning more toward a Subie. When I came in Tyler and the lovely lady he was training were very helpful and acknowledged what I needed in a new car as I was upgrading from a 2019 Chevy. Not only were my requests specific due to certain safety features as I’m a new expecting mom ( while also…

  specific cosmetic preferences) I also needed to keep it in a certain budget. Very quickly did Tyler show me a few cars and I instantly fell in love with a 2026 brand new Outback. Tyler took what I said and translated it into the perfect vehicle, he is extremely knowledgeable about cars and made this experience a 10/10. The Outback he showed checked ALL my boxes included cosmetic preferences (like absolutely no cloth seats lol) Shortly after we discussed numbers and Tyler and his team/boss were able to keep this brand new car in my budget with a solid trade in value for my 2019 Chevy equinox and a interest rate that was over 7% LESS then my chevy. While there they offered to help get me lunch and kept the atmosphere positive and inviting. I left with a brand new car, 19 miles total on it, which I never thought in my life I’d have a brand new vehicle let alone with everything I wanted and in my budget for a Subaru. Tyler and his trainee side kick also helped me pack up my old car and helped carry my things to my new car, the customer service was unlike no other during the entirety of my time there. This team is truly awesome and I’m very happy to be part of the Subaru family. Also good luck to the lovely lady in training you are awesome thank you for accompanying me on my test drive and for all the knowledge you have also shared, I know are going to be a great asset to five star.

  most incredible customer service of any car dealership one could ever imagine or even hope for here with them in Oneonta. Sometimes, after leaving the area nearby, I would even drive an additional 90 miles to come back to them over one of the other three or four local Subaru dealerships in the area closer to where I then lived. The extraordinary thoroughness, care and consideration they have given me (and any other customer I have ever observed them interacting with) blows it right out of the ballpark, as actually living their values, which are so wholesome and good, caring for the vehicles as well as the people themselves. Justin Velasco has led the service department this whole time, over these many years that I have been going there, and he is top class, making sure his staff is also first class all the way through, both as people and also at doing their jobs. I am so incredibly grateful to know that they are there and that I can fully trust them with my car. I can't recommend them highly enough!   Five Star Subaru was amazing, as usual!! Upon my vehicles annual inspection, it was discovered that both rear wheel bearings needed replacing. Without hesitation they gave me a loaner and started working on it immediately and thankfully it was covered under warranty! No inconvenience whatsoever!

  Tom was professional, courteous and helpful. He even showed me a screen on my 2026 Outback that I couldn’t find. The oil change and tire rotation were completed faster than anticipated. No leaks and the free car wash was also a bonus. Thanks you guys.

  We recently purchased our third Subaru. Steven has been our salesperson for all three. Friendly, no pressure, straightforward and informative. He went above and beyond to help us set everything up.
