  Ive been coming to Nicks auto for all my cars, from Honda s2000, to Nissan GTR and porsche 911. First day I stopped by on a Saturday and they helped me unbolted a bolt and didn’t charge me anything. Since then I knew this shop is good people. They do electrical, mechanic, and a bit of cosmetics. They’re honest and fair.

Nick does excellent inspections, diagnostics, and work while also looking out for his customers' wallets - he only recommends repairs and services when necessary.   roadtrip a few years ago. He's also helped my parents decide when the maintenance costs of cars are likely to increase and make buying a new car more practical. I have since moved off Long Island and DIY the majority of maintenance and repairs on my car. I still go to Nick's whenever I need something above my abilities done or need a used car inspected. Needless to say, if I'm willing to travel from PA for Nick's, if you live in/near Glen Cove, he should be your local mechanic and overall car expert! One piece of advice for prospective customers is to make an appointment. Good places, like Nick's, are very often busy and don't always have time for walk-ins.

  keeping customers, as the place is usually packed. Unlike many other repair centers, they also don’t feel the need to charge you for unnecessary things, and they don’t lie. No matter how busy they are, Nick still finds the time to speak one and one and carefully listen to what problems your car’s having and what you need. It’s also easy to see that they make their best effort to keep their word on how long things will take, even when things aren’t going as planned. They’re skilled, communicative, and treat their customers very well.
