  This place is a joke. Take your business somewhere else. The store says on google closing at 5:30PM. I called at 4:30…gentlemen say they close, closer to 5PM if you can come in asap. I said sure. I asked how much is a tire repair he told me $30. I said ok np. (usually pay $20 but ok) I get there in 5 mins - told him I was the one that called. He tells me it’s $60 - I said why?   $30…The guy says “did you tell Us it’s a Tesla? “ I said “ No - whats the difference? “ ( I usually pay $20 in Queens) He says “ you can GET anything in Queens for $20” lol Ok…I’ll take my business somewhere else. So If I had a Mercedes - would it $90? Tesla wheels come off like any other wheels. I had the Tesla pucks for the Car Jacks. He says most ppl wouldn’t even work on a Tesla. I went to Tires by Tony’s earlier in the morning and he didn’t take me because I forgot my Pucks for under the car. FYI He does Teslas. That’s why he didn’t take me because I didnt bring the pucks. He even said sometimes it might be the cold. Just drive around - and see and come back. Now that’s honest. He would took me for $20. I guess House Of Tires makes money hands over fist. You’ll never see me or anybody I know ever again. Lol I’ll go back to Queens and support my small businesses or Tony’s in the morning. 03/25/26: QUICK UPDATE - Tire’s By Tony’s still charged me $20 ea with a Tesla! I brought my pucks did 2x Tires for $40 !!!!!

Most cars are $30 for a flat repair, but Tesla''s or cars with runflat tires cost more to repair because we repair tires with an inside patch, not a plug.   Used to come here for everything but there's been a serious change as of late. Went in for a routine inspection. Waited two and a half hours for a reply only to be told that I had failed inspection. There were a few problems that they brought to my attention that were admittedly pretty important to get fixed rather soon, but they also attached a laundry list of minor issues. Upon further inspection of the list, and…

  after getting second opinions from other mechanics, nothing that they turned me away for were grounds for failing an inspection. Im now forced to take my business elsewhere.

  I am extremely outraged with my visit to House of Tires. I drove 45 minutes from Queens, genuinely excited to support a small business after seeing their high ratings. I originally wanted to order tires directly from them, but after learning over the phone that they didn’t offer road hazard protection—which is essential for me, as I use it often—I decided to bring my own tires instead. Still, I was hoping to build…

  a good relationship with the shop by having them mount and balance the tires, and I planned to return for an alignment and future business. Unfortunately, from the moment I arrived, I felt unwelcome. The person helping me seemed visibly annoyed that I had brought my own tires. That was never meant to offend anyone—I simply needed the road hazard protection. I could’ve easily taken my business elsewhere but chose to come here because I wanted to support them. While I was willing to overlook that uncomfortable start, the situation escalated after they reinstalled my wheels. The lug bolts were torqued down so tightly that many of them rounded out. I had to go to my local mechanic, who tried everything—from impact tools to a huge pipe on a breaker bar—and still couldn’t remove them. So far, I’ve only managed to extract and replace the rear lug bolts, but I still have to deal with the fronts. This is turning into a multi-stage hassle that’s already cost me hundreds—and it’s not over yet. All from a simple tire mount. Just for context, I’m meticulous about my car and always torque my lug bolts to spec—100 ft-lbs—with a proper torque wrench. I had personally inspected and torqued these bolts not long before my visit, and no one else had touched them since. They’re the factory bolts unscathed. House of Tires was the first shop to remove and reinstall them, and the damage—rounded heads and seized threads—very clearly happened during that process. There’s no question about it. Whether it was due to being busy on a Saturday or frustration with my choice to bring my own tires, negligence or malice doesn’t really matter when the end result is this kind of damage. I paid for a professional service and instead walked away with a serious issue and an unexpected repair bill. Adding to the discomfort, the staff member even commented, “I’m just mentioning this because other people complained that they mishandled/damaged their wheels when they brought their own tires,” while pointing out scratches on my wheels. For the record, I never intended to complain about my wheels. I was fully aware of all cosmetic blemishes beforehand. I document my car’s condition meticulously and would never falsely accuse a shop. I’m not that kind of person, and the implication was insulting. Ironically, when I first left the shop, I was excited to return. This was the first tire shop that had mounted tires for me without adding additional wheel damage—a rarity these days. They even dressed the tires nicely with tire shine. I was genuinely looking forward to coming back for an alignment. But in the end, what happened was far worse than a simple scratch. Now, I’m left deeply regretting my decision to trust House of Tires. I have full documentation of everything that happened, including invoices and Carfax records, in case there’s any dispute over the details of my visit. I cannot recommend House of Tires based on this experience. I’ve already retracted recommendations I previously made to friends and will continue to steer others away. Attached below are examples of the lug bolt condition and my first round of extractions—this situation is only going to get more expensive the longer it drags on. If this was an honest mistake and House of Tires is genuinely interested in making this right, I’m open to taking this review down. However, as someone who does my own car work and torques my own lug bolts, this doesn’t feel like a simple mistake. The over-torquing was so severe that if it weren’t caught early, it could’ve caused serious damage to my rotor, hub, or other parts of my wheel assembly. As it sits, this is my reaction to their service.

  Quick and Efficient Service. My Tesla got a flat tire. I went to few more service providers they could not fix flat tire. I landed at house of tires at the end. They are Very welcoming.The staffs are really professional and hard working. Went on a weekday it was less crowded. The service was pretty fast. Price was reasonable.They have a nice waiting area too. Would love to visit again.
