  I had a very bad experience with Exotic Repair and Collision. I brought my car in for a simple starter replacement and was told it was a straightforward job and that I would be “taken care of” as a student. Instead, I was charged over a couple thousand dollars, and the work performed resulted in multiple serious issues that were not present before. The mechanics unnecessarily disassembled the entire front of the…

  car for a basic starter job, and it also appears the starter was not even accessed or replaced from the correct area. I received the vehicle back with missing engine covers, a non-working AC system, a major coolant leak, a missing oil level sensor harness, multiple warning lights on the dashboard, and even a broken headlight. The car was returned in significantly worse condition than when it was dropped off. To make matters worse, I was never provided a receipt for the work done. When I returned to address the issues, they refused to take responsibility or properly fix the damage they caused. The staff was also extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional throughout the interaction. Based on my experience with Exotic Repair and Collision, I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Proceed with extreme caution before trusting them with your vehicle.

  I brought my BMW 540i to Exotic Auto Collision for a small coolant leak. Before any work was done, I was told it was likely just a minor hose issue and would be a quick, inexpensive repair costing only a couple hundred dollars. Instead, my car was held for over a month, and I was later presented with a bill for over $4,000 for a radiator, water pump, and hose replacement—far beyond what was originally discussed. I…

  felt pressured into paying because they refused to release my vehicle otherwise. After getting my car back, the original coolant issue was still not fixed. On top of that, I noticed they used plain water instead of proper coolant. When I brought this up, they refused to take responsibility and told me to go to another shop unless I was willing to pay even more. They also refused any refund or accountability. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this shop. Be very cautious and make sure everything is clearly documented before agreeing to any work.

  I brought my 2022 Mercedes-Benz C300 to Exotic Auto Collision for transmission work. Before any repairs were done, I was told the cost would be around $2,500. However, when I received the final bill, it came out to nearly $5,000—double the original estimate. After getting the car back, the issue was still not properly fixed, and the vehicle was still not shifting correctly. I went back to the shop to address the…

  problem, but instead of taking responsibility, they wanted to charge me additional money on top of what I had already paid. To make things worse, I never received a proper itemized receipt or clear documentation for the work that was done. Because the issue was still not resolved, I had to pay for towing and bring the car to a Mercedes-Benz dealership to diagnose and repair the same problem I originally brought it in for. Throughout the process, I felt pressured to pay before my vehicle was released, and I was not satisfied with the communication, transparency, or outcome of the repair. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Be very cautious and make sure everything is clearly documented before agreeing to any work.
