  Service Manager Mark Needham Service Advisor Giuseppe Coppola Avoid Bayside Volkswagen Service. They are not shamed of lying about anything they tell you. Do not trust their verbal claims that a repair has been completed. Get everything in writing and independently verify their work.   months and three repair attempts. It is the repeated pattern of charging me for work that was never properly completed, telling me the car was fixed when it was still visibly driving crooked, dismissing independent evidence, blaming me for supposedly ruining the alignment by driving for two weeks, and then producing their own measurements that proved the car was still essentially in the same out-of-spec condition as before. Service Manager Mark Needham and Service Advisor Giuseppe Coppola have repeatedly changed their story, avoided giving me any real diagnosis or repair plan, and left me chasing them for updates while my car sits in their shop. At this point, this is no longer just incompetence—it is a complete refusal to take responsibility, communicate honestly, or show even basic respect for a customer. This nightmare started when Bayside VW replaced my front lower control arm and returned the car without performing a proper four-wheel alignment. When I questioned it, they gave me the absurd excuse that only the front wheels needed to be aligned—as though the rear wheels somehow cease to exist when suspension work is performed. They then demanded that I pay separately for an alignment, so I paid because I wanted the car repaired correctly. Predictably, they took the money and still failed to fix it. Their response was not to admit that the alignment had been done incorrectly, but to demand yet another diagnostic fee before they would even investigate their own failed work. Apparently, at Bayside VW, paying for an alignment does not entitle you to a properly aligned car—it merely earns you the privilege of being charged again when they fail to do the job. Every mistake they made somehow became another bill for me, while Service Manager Mark Needham and Service Advisor Giuseppe Coppola avoided the one thing they should have done from the beginning: take responsibility and finish the repair properly.
