  I had a Leased F150 that I satisfied the lease on and it needed to be turned in. Due to my busy schedule I had my wife contact West Herr, she spoke to Salesman Jay Allen and told him that we needed a new F150 with a 3.5 Twin turbo, 3.55 locking rear end and max towing package which we had been told by several other dealers that package isnt made to pull 13,800 lbs anymore on the F150. West Herr confirmed that as…

  well so it left me to look at the F250 superduty. I wanted the XLT in Carbonized Grey with 6 1/2’ bed. Jay went to work on location one for us. They found 3 but the dealers were not letting the vehicle go. Jay reached back out to us and assured us not to worry he would locate one. As time was getting short we contacted Ford to inquire about extending the current lease which we could do for only 30 days with additional fees and taxes and an entire new lease for 30 days. Time went on and we were getting pretty stressed. We wanted to stay with Ford and West Herr because they are one of the few dealers that offered a Smart Buy program. One week prior to having to turn the lease in or extend it we decided to go test drive a GMC 1500 duramax diesel at Matthews in Vestal NY. Minutes before we pulled in the lot of Matthews Ford my wife’s cell phone rang and it was Jay from West Herr… great news we located a truck for you. Needless to say we were speechless. Jay sent over a photo and the window sticker and we said YES!!!! We continued to take the GMC for a test drive as we had just drove an hour to do so. The GMC was a nice truck but after having a ford it didn't hold a candle to it. We asked Jay when the truck would be in for us to come out to Rochester and he was setting up a driver to go pick it up. We set up an appointment for that Friday at 5pm, literally the last day of our lease and the last hour of the lease. We got to West Herr Ford and were met by the most friendly and personable staff we have ever experienced at a dealership. Kudos to Jay Allen and all the staff at West Herr who assisted in locating our new F250 Superduty. They went above and beyond what we ever imagined. We want to say thank you to you all at West Herr, you have earned our respect and future business. Without Jay Allens persistence on this we may have ended up in a GMC that just didn’t make us happy.
