I had a great experience at Northtown Toyota, and I especially want to give a huge thank you to Navid for making the entire process smooth and stress-free. From the moment I walked in, Navid was professional, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and worked with me every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable with the deal. What really stood out to me…

was how transparent and honest he was throughout the process no pressure, just real help. He was able to give me a solid trade-in value for my vehicle, which I truly appreciated, and he worked hard to get my monthly payment exactly where I wanted it. That’s not something every salesperson is willing to do, and it made a big difference for me. Overall, this was one of the easiest and most positive car-buying experiences I’ve had. If you’re going to Northtown Toyota, I highly recommend asking for Navid. He’ll take care of you and make sure you leave happy. Thank you again, Navid!

Response from the owner · April 3, 2026: Hi Muhi, hearing you say this was one of the easiest and most positive car-buying experiences you've had truly makes our day. We're grateful for your recommendation and look forward to serving you again at Northtown Toyota. Enjoy the new ride!

I worked with Daljeet and I have to say that I had the most amazing car buying experience. I knew exactly what I wanted vehicle and price and they did not disappoint at all. I purchased a 2026 Toyota 4Runner and it has been my dream vehicle. Thank you to all the staff at Northtown for truly caring from sales to finance. Will be back there for sure when I’m ready to trade in.

Response from the owner · April 13, 2026: Ryan, congratulations on your 2026 Toyota 4Runner! It’s awesome to hear you had an amazing experience with Daljeet and our team. Thanks for choosing Northtown Toyota. We can't wait to assist you again down the road! Safe travels!

I will no longer be using Northtown Toyota for service, nor will I recommend them to anyone. My family has been a loyal service customer for years, which makes this experience especially disappointing. We brought our RAV4 Prime in for its 70,000-mile service, including inspection of the hybrid motor cable corrosion service campaign. We were told the cable showed corrosion but hadn't yet triggered the required fault…

code. Since the parts were backordered for weeks or months, we chose to leave the vehicle because we were told a failure could leave us stranded. About a week later, we considered trading the vehicle for a new RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid due to the indefinite wait. During the appraisal, the salesperson told us the open campaign reduced our trade-in value. That made no sense since it was a manufacturer issue, not owner damage. Their offer was roughly $5,000 lower than every other dealership we later visited, so we took the vehicle back. Interestingly, about a week after mentioning we were shopping elsewhere, Northtown suddenly had the previously unavailable parts. Coincidence or not, I'll let others decide. I happened to be getting another appraisal when Northtown called saying the parts had arrived. I drove directly there and was told the repair would likely be completed that evening. Around 8 PM I was told it would instead be finished the next day. The next day I heard nothing until I called. Then it became Friday because a "master technician" had to perform the repair. Friday became Saturday. Saturday came with no communication. Monday I was again told it would be done that afternoon, then later that evening I was informed it still wasn't finished but was "next on the lift." What should have been a one-day repair turned into more than a week with almost no proactive communication. Every update required me to call, my text messages requesting updates went unanswered, and every delay came with the same explanation instead of an honest timeline. Throughout all of this, Northtown claimed they had no rental vehicles available, leaving us to arrange transportation at our own expense. When I finally picked up the vehicle on Tuesday, the experience somehow became even worse. There was a large chunk missing from the steering wheel. Before leaving the dealership parking lot, I photographed the damage and texted the service advisor, who acknowledged it and said management would be notified. After weeks of following up, the service manager finally called only to argue that I had no "before" photo of my steering wheel. Customers should not have to photograph every inch of their vehicle before dropping it off for service. The expectation is that it will be returned in the same condition. The manager also claimed no one had entered the vehicle because the repair was underneath the car. That was simply untrue. The rear seat had clearly been disturbed, the child seat had been moved, and items inside the vehicle had been shifted. This repair requires access under the rear seat. Northtown also failed to complete its own vehicle inspection video, eliminating documentation that could have resolved the dispute. Eventually, the manager said he would speak with his vinyl repair specialist. Despite several follow-up attempts and repeated assurances that they would "take care of it," I have been completely ghosted. The steering wheel remains damaged. Over the course of a month, I had my own vehicle for only a few days. Northtown had it the rest of the time. I dealt with poor communication, constantly changing timelines, no rental assistance, ignored update requests, and ultimately received my vehicle back damaged with no meaningful resolution. After years of being a loyal customer, this experience has completely destroyed my confidence in Northtown Toyota. I cannot recommend them, and I strongly encourage you to select another dealership.

Response from the owner · September 11, 2026: Marina, I'm sorry about the frustrations and challenges you faced during your recent service experience. I understand how upsetting it can be when communication falls short and issues remain unresolved. We value your loyalty and would hate to lose your business. Please feel free to contact me so that we can discuss this further. Thank you, EJ Gonser - Service Manager - (716) 836-4600 x 11120

I had a wonderful experience with Northtown Toyota! I worked with Devin & Mike in the Sales department. They both were excellent. Devin was very helpful/kind in guiding my experience with a new lease and actively listened to all my questions. I felt comfortable with him and confident in my new purchase! I had been going to another dealership in Lockport for 15 years to get my old car serviced. I had every intention…

of sticking with them, but had an awful experience with their sales team. My time at Northtown was the exact opposite! It was very positive. Customer service really does make a difference. And I'm happy to report that I felt it was important to Northtown Toyota, too! Thank you Northtown.

Response from the owner · June 25, 2026: Monica, hearing this made our day! We're so glad Devin and Mike made your leasing experience smooth and enjoyable. It's great to know you felt heard and comfortable throughout the process. Welcome to the Northtown Toyota family, we're grateful to have you with us! Safe travels in your new car!

Dominic made the process as smooth as possible for someone who was an out of state buyer. He communicated very well via email/txt sending my plenty of pics and vids of the vehicle. We did as much paperwork before hand to make the day of purchase as smooth and quick as possible considering i had to fly in. The day I flew in after a satisfying test drive i was in and out in about 3 hours total. The truck was fully…

detailed waiting for me. Very smooth process.

Response from the owner · April 22, 2026: Jared, it means a lot to hear that Dominic made the process easy and seamless for you. Thank you for your confidence in us at Northtown Toyota! Congrats on your new truck!

How it went into the service shop vs. how it came back. See the new gaps between the panels in the after? The third picture is the loose wire that caused me to bring it in, hoping for a warranty repair. They're trying to say that small scuff knocked the wire loose so they can charge over $1,000 to my insurance. They say they can't/won't just put that wire back, they need to replace the entire harness. That sure…

sounds like insurance fraud to me! And if you see a copy/paste reply to this from EJ or anyone else at northtown, just know it means they didn't actually read this far. You tried to blame a loose wire on a tiny scuff, and when I didn't believe you, you made the damage worse! Edit: people say a lot of things, I've never heard anyone say all that, apart from the ones working at dealerships of course. I'm a person and I'll be encouraging other people to stay away from dealerships from now on. I'll be encouraging people to go with something like Slate. No dealership. No haggling. No sleazy salesman. Their biggest selling points are affordable and diy. All electric pickup truck for $25,000. How many new cars are you selling at that price? Buy the truck now, save up for a kit that will turn it into a 5 seat SUV. And install it yourself. If you're not diy inclined, most any mechanic shop can do it for you. Any shop can be Slate certified and do warranty work. Slate comes with as few things to go wrong as legally possible. No radio. No power windows. No touch screen that went out of date before the first one got to the dealership. If you want a touch screen, they'll sell you a tablet mount. They'll give you the 3D printer file so you can print your own tablet mount. For free. If someone actually does want all the bells and whistles, they can turn a $25,000 truck into a $35,000 SUV really quick when they order it. The point is they give you the option. You can pick and choose the exact extras you want to pay for. Ask your sales department how many people say "I don't want any bells and whistles". All of those people want something like Slate. Take the hint. Stop pushing these fragile, paper mache computers on wheels only the rich people want and can afford.

Response from the owner · June 30, 2026: Josh, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We take your concerns about your vehicle seriously, and I'd like the opportunity to learn more about your experience and work with you toward a resolution. Please give me a call at your convenience so we can discuss what happened. Best, EJ Gonser Service Manager (716) 836-4600 x11120
