  This experience happened about nine years ago, so I can't speak to how the dealership operates today. However, it left such a lasting impression that I still remember it whenever I drive by a Toyota Dealership. This was one of the most stressful car-buying experiences I've ever had. I asked for monthly payment estimates on several vehicles after my down payment, but instead of being shown the numbers, I was told to…

  calculate them myself. When I questioned some of the pricing, I watched figures get crossed out on the paperwork, but the overall total didn't appear to change to reflect those adjustments. That left me feeling confused and uncertain about the pricing. I left believing the vehicle I'd put a deposit on was secured. Later, I was told it was no longer available and was offered a different vehicle instead. At that point, I lost confidence in the process, requested my deposit back, and decided to walk away. As a single woman, I left feeling that I wasn't treated with the transparency and respect I expected. While this happened years ago and I can't speak to the dealership today, my experience was enough that I chose not to return.
