  I recently brought my BMW to BMW South Albany for tire mounting, balancing, and alignment service, and unfortunately I was very disappointed with the condition in which the vehicle was returned. The tires were left covered in white mounting residue, and adhesive from the old balancing weights was left on the inside of the wheels. I also noticed scratches on the inner barrel of the rim that appear to have resulted…

  from an attempted cleanup process. (See attached photos documenting these issues.) I was additionally informed that the motor mounts needed replacement, despite the mounts having been replaced only a few months ago. From my understanding, there was leftover residue from the previous repair that was never properly cleaned, and I was subsequently quoted and pushed for replacement again. I also specifically requested that my headlight condensation concern be documented to determine whether it was still within BMW specifications, but I never received a clear answer or any documentation regarding that concern. I even left my vehicle there overnight. Another issue was that I requested my old tires be returned to me, but they were not provided after service. Additionally, I was charged a disposal fee for the tires that I specifically requested to keep. Lastly, unlike every other BMW dealership experience I’ve had, I did not receive a technician inspection video or multi-point inspection documentation, which I’ve consistently come to expect as part of BMW service. Overall, this experience did not reflect the level of care, communication, or attention to detail I normally associate with BMW service departments. As a BMW owner who has visited multiple dealerships across the country, this was by far one of the most disappointing service experiences I’ve had.
